Man uses piranha as scissors
A video of an Ecuadorian man using a piranha as a pair of scissors has gone viral on YouTube.
Taken in Cuyabeno Rainforest, Ecuador, the clip shows the man holding one of the deadly fish tightly in one hand.
As the fish flaps its tail, unable to escape, he slowly lowers a twig into its mouth full of sharp teeth.
The end of the stick is cut away in a flash, to the shock of onlookers heard gasping behind the camera.
The fish is seen continuing to snap its jaw even after the stick has been taken away.
what do you think?

Andy Ferris
Could I have the end of my stick back please, I needed that bit!!!

Adrian Wagstaff
Obviously, he doesn't do much internetting, playing a piano nor a guitar. Some experts, of course, claim that piranhas are safe and can't really bite anything. Experts seem to be on TV a lot saying all sorts of conflicting facts.

Anthony Smith
Do they come in left handed?

Valerie Wood
Mmmmmm think I'll stick to the old scissors thank you very much :(

Bloody cruel, poor thing!

Derek Porter
I agree, but I bet you wouldn't be so sympathetic if it was eating your toe.

Julie Crumpton
No,.....but I wouldn't be in a position where it would be! Lol!

what else does he have on his tool rack? a swordfish for a saw? An eel as a tape measure? A hammer head shark to knock nails in with? crocodiles to clip documents together? a pilot fish as a workman's lamp? ... ok i`m out.

ian knight
oh yes, mike, good point. and don't forget his garden shed which i bet is powered also by that electric eel///////////////

Mac McMacintosh
he'd have to empty out his scissors every now and again.... lol
