Pensioner rescued from precarious perch

Chinese firemen have rescued a pensioner who sat on the edge of the sloping roof of an 18-storey building to "cool down".
Residents called emergency services after spotting the man on the roof of the apartment block in Wuhu, eastern China's Anhui Province.
Firefighters were terrified to spot the man right on the edge of the roof, hundreds of feet above the ground.
They told him to stay still while one fireman crawled onto the roof, tied a rope around his waist and pulled him to safety.
The man, aged 70, initially told firemen that he had crawled onto the roof for some "peace" after a row with his daughter.
But when he got home, he changed his time and said he wanted to sit on the roof to enjoy the coolness.
