Restaurant admits cockroach problem
The honest owner of a Californian restaurant has posted a sign explaining the eatery is closed - due to a cockroach infestation.
Cafe del Soul, in Marin County, posted the sign near its front door - after reporting itself to local environmental health officials.
Manager Sandro De Oliveira told the Marin Independent Journal that the cafe's owner wanted to be honest with customers.
"The owner decided, if I can't tell the truth to my customers, then why have a restaurant," he said.
The newspaper reports that the restaurant also wanted to put pressure on the building owner to take action against the pests.
