Royal couple feature on toilet statues
Prince William and wife Kate are among international celebrities who have fallen victim to toilet humour in Catalonia.
The Royal couple feature as 'caganers' - caricature statues of famous people shown squatting to answer nature's call.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in good company - also featured are the Queen and Prince Philip, Barack Obama, John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Lewis Hamilton, Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger and Barcelona FC's footballing heroes.
However, while these undignified poses appear to be denigrating these celebrities, the function of the 'caganer' is very much a positive one.
Caganers are a strong Christmas tradition in Catalonia, dating back to the 18th century as Catalonians hide them in Nativity scenes for friends to find.
The figures symbolize fertilization, hope and prosperity for the upcoming year.

does anyone know where i can buy these from ?? if i have enough cash i will but the whole set !! Tremendous.I would sell them at the jubilee waste of money next year,and keep a set in the thunder box at home so every time i take a dump i would look at them and smile .love it

This is gross and disturbing-a strong christmas tradition??? Why and what do they possibly add to christmas? They hardly represent any real nativity scene.
