Shark steals underwater camera

Filming for a documentary on marine life in the Bahamas was disrupted - when a shark made off with a £10,000 camera.

Shark expert Jim Abernethy had placed one of his cameras on the sea floor when a 14ft tiger sharks swiped it and swam off.

Footage shot by another member of the This is Your Ocean team captured the moment the shark, known as Emma, disappeared with the camera.

Luckily, the shark dropped the 30lb camera within a hundred feet of the film crew, who were shooting footage at Tiger Beach.

The divers were working on an upcoming documentary called Shark Obsession.
