Snowballers pick the wrong victim

Firemen fight back /YouTube

A gang of youths who pelted firefighters with snowballs in Leeds learned a valuable lesson - when they ended up soaked.

The firefighters, who were working on a boat, turned their hose on the younsters, drenching them with freezing water from the River Aire.

Footage has emerged online showing the unequal exchange during Britain's latest cold snap.

The video shows a firefighter standing on a boat about to use a giant hose when a cheeky teenager on a bridge above throws a snowball that hits him on the head.

His friends then try to hit the fire crew with more snowballs.

But within seconds the victim turns on the pump on his hose and starts shooting water up at the offenders, leaving them drenched through.

A video, taken by a bystander and posted on YouTube, captures the laughter of the crowd watching as the boys get their comeuppance.

what do you think?

it's a banker that this firefighter will be disciplined. there will be a senior officer keen to make a name for himself on the back of this by making an example of the firefighter.

If the fireman get's in to trouble with his bosses over this i hope the youths involved jump to his DEFENCE.It may look funny but if the fireman had lost his ballance and fallen into the water who knows what the consequences could have been?

He could have easily have soaked an innocent bystander so he might get a telling off.though i hope not as no harm was done and it is funny.

Poor old Hoodies, they were perplexed and confused by seeing someone actually doing something worthwhile. I just hope they weren't too traumatised by the water. This being modern Britain, I expect the Firemen will be punished
