Soldier pops question to wrong woman

A British soldier has proposed to his pregnant girlfriend by phone - only to leave his message on the wrong number.
The unknown man, believed to be a soldier serving in Afghanistan, dialled the incorrect number and mistakenly left his message at the home of Diana Potts, a 44-year-old mother of three from Gateshead in Tyne and Wear.
In the 90-second message, the emotional squaddie says he will not return to the UK for three months and is unable to call again for another month, reports the Telegraph.
He then adds: "Dont ever forget I love you with all my heart and I was going to ask you - don't answer, obviously you can't answer - but will you marry me?"
Mrs Potts has made the message public in the hope it finds its way to the solider's mystery gilfriend, Samantha.
