Store opens aisle just for men
A New York supermarket is believed to be the first in the world to create an aisle to cater purely for men.
Goods on sale on the men's aisle at the Westside Market in Manhattan include beer, condoms, beef jerky and razors.
"Initially it was a joke," store owner George Zoitas. "We were tossing around an idea about maybe making a man section with everything a man would need, whatever men buy."
He added that men typically don't like to go shopping and so the man aisle means that they can pop in and out quickly and get everything they want without the need for a list.
Shopper Andy Huber, 23, of Harlem, told the New York Post: "I don't like to spend much time in the grocery store, so having this aisle makes things much easier for me."
It has been suggested that more stores will follow this example and set up their own man aisles, with Mr Zoitas planning to develop one at four other supermarkets in the near future.

Last time I checked, I was a man. I don't buy condoms. I don't buy razors because I like my beard. I don't like beer and thus don't buy it. I don't like beef jerky and thus don't buy it. What I do buy is fresh veggies, fruit, fish, rice and toiletries. Guess I am lucky that I don't have to wade through the rubbish to get to what I want.

I have the answer for you: dont go down the man aisle then. Rather than complain that it doesnt cater for you, acknowledge that it caters for lots of other people and move on. Dont be so pathetic as to shoot something down just because you decide to set yourself apart from the target group yet fit the title.

not sure i agree .Will the store sell those products in a diifferent part of the store? I mean what about customers doing the weekly family shop ?

why is this so hard to understand? There is an aisle that caters for men, it is separate to the rest of the shop where everythin else stays the same.
