Transsexual teen to marry his old babysitter

A transsexual teenager is to marry his mum's best friend who babysat him when he was a young girl.

Bobby Fransis Barnes, 19, said he had a crush on Donna Price, 31, when he was just five, reports The Miror.

The mother-of-three was a good friend of his mum Tracey Wood, 41 and even used to help change Bobby's nappies.

They lost touch but the unlikely couple bumped into each other in a pub last year and later struck up a relationship.

Mr Barnes, from Worcester, said: "When I saw Donna in the pub I just thought 'this is the girl I've had a crush on for years'."

Ms Price added: "It was scary the first time I went round as obviously me and Tracey are really good friends.

"I knew Bobby when he was running around with his long hair beating his little sister up.

"But I went round for dinner and Tracey put her hands on my shoulders and told me not to worry, she said she was glad he was with me."

Bobby has been having hormone treatment for two years and is awaiting surgery he needs to become a man.

The couple have now had each other's names tattooed on their wrists ahead of their nuptials.
