'We have a Houston problem'

An air passenger was kicked off a flight for repeatedly singing Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.

The American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to New York was diverted to Kansas City so marshals could remove the woman from the plane because she kept singing the song.

The tuneless singing began shortly after the flight took off, but around halfway through it became too much for fellow passengers and staff to bear.

The woman was filmed being escorted from the plane, in handcuffs, still belting out the 1992 number one hit.

Kansas City Airport spokesman Joe McBride said: "The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew.

"There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane."

The woman was later released without charge. She had to make her own arrangements for the rest of her journey as the airline would not let her board another flight.
