World's shortest man is crowned
Edward Nino Hernandez is the newly-crowned world's shortest man - standing at just 27 inches tall.
The Colombian has been officially awarded the title by Guinness World Records after the previous holder, China's 28-inch tall He Pingping, died in March.
Hernandez had previously danced in department stores for money but now enjoys a blossoming acting career, is in generally good health and also has a girlfriend - five-foot Fanny.
"It bothers me when people touch me and pick me up" he admits, but he may not be in the spotlight for long. Nepal's Khagendra Thapa Magar is the world's shortest teenager at 22 inches tall, and is set to snatch the title when he turns 18 next month.
