Dad's car crash miracle

Car CEN

A motorist made a miraculous escape in Poland after his car was torn in half in a head-on collision.

The 39-year-old driver's Peugot 205 collided with an oncoming Chevrolet Aveo in Swietokrzyskie, Poland, snapping the car in half and sending both parts flying through the air.

Astonishing pictures of the smash taken by passersby show the front part of the car lying 15 yards away from the rest of the shattered motor.

Police investigating the accident said both drivers had been taken to hospital for observation and added: "How he survived this is a miracle."
