Pedestrian crossing causes confusion

Sign Rex

It would appear that bungling workers don't know their left from their right - with these contradictory road markings causing confusion in Swindon.

At a crossing point over a busy road pedestrians are told to look left, but an arrow points right.

With the buses walkers are supposed to look out for passing down the road from left to right, anyone following the advice of the painted arrow could find themselves in trouble.

Thankfully, whoever painted the markings got it correct on the opposite side of the road - with an arrow pointing right next to the warning 'look right'.

Clearly anyone who is "confused" by this is too stupid to be allowed out in public without a carer anyway!
