The Saturdays: 'We want to work with Pharrell'

The Saturdays

The Saturdays have revealed that they want to break America - with the help of superstar producer Pharrell Williams.

The five-piece, who reached No.2 in the UK singles chart this month with a cover of Depeche Mode's 'Just Can't Get Enough' for Comic Relief, are hoping to call on the NERD star's knob-twiddling skills to complete their in-progress second album.

Band member Vanessa White told the Daily Star: "We hope to finish our second album over there and Pharrell is the only person we desperately want to work with.

"His production is insane and would help us in America."

Rochelle Wiseman confirmed: "America is somewhere we're definitely aiming at.

"Our songs have already been played on shows like Ugly Betty and Perez Hilton is a big fan and always bigging us up. We've already had such good feedback. No one has put us down."

The Saturdays' next single, 'Work', is due for release in June.
