EastEnders' Ben Mitchell has been getting away with murder for years. Now the twisted teenager is about to score his greatest triumph to date - when he kills Heather Trott, and the police pin the blame on the wrong man.
The travesty occurs when Heather, played by Cheryl Fergison, suffers fatal injuries after Ben (Joshua Pascoe) lashes out during a heated argument. But when Walford CID start to investigate her death, their suspicions fall on her violent fiancé Andrew Cotton (Ricky Grover).
Meanwhile Ben has confessed to his dad Phil (Steve McFadden), who manages to convince his guilt-stricken son to stay schtum - despite the fact his girlfriend Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) was Heather's best mate.
"Heather's murder is the next big storyline coming up - and it's going to be huge," a soap mole told the Daily Star Sunday. "Even though it's Ben who kills her, the police and everyone else on Albert Square believe it was Andrew. It's a terrible crime that sends shockwaves throughout the Square."
The cast are set to film Heather's funeral this week - and something tells us there won't be a dry eye in the house.

I love eastenders but I really think they have lost the plot axing Heather she is great, they should have axed Derek Branning who is awful, may even stop watching if he doesn't go soon
