Corrie bosses on the hunt for Carla's brother

Coronation Street bosses are on the lookout for a new hunk to hit the cobbles as Carla Connor's long-lost brother.
According to reports in The Sun, soap big wigs want a "moody bad boy to set the cobbles' women aflutter". Auditions are already taking place and it's thought the new Street heartbreaker will join the ITV soap this summer.
Carla, played by Alison King, has often made reference to her brother over the past few years, but there's been very little detail revealed about what he's like and where he's been hiding away.
Speaking of the new character, a soap snitch told the tabloid: "We are seeing lots of different actors over the next week or so. We have got some exciting storylines lined up for Carla's brother. He is a character the fans have been keen to meet for some time." As for what he'll do when he arrives on The Street, aside from making a move on the female residents of Weatherfield remains to be seen... But it's thought the mysterious brother will help Carla run knicker factor Underworld. No surprise there then!
