It's curling tongs at dawn in Weatherfield, as Audrey tries to take back control of the salon. The trouble starts when the Platt family discover Audrey has rekindled her romance with reformed con man Lewis. A furious Gail confronts the pair in the Rovers, telling her mum she's a fool to give Lewis another chance.
Refusing to back down, Audrey immediately begins planning a round-the-world cruise with Lewis. The glamorous grandmother needs money to fund the trip, however, so she decides to sell the salon. The only fly in the ointment is that she signed the place over to grandson David last year, in a bid to keep him on the straight and narrow.
Convinced that Lewis is scheming to get his hands on Audrey's cash, David refuses to hand over the business and even threatens to sue his gran for breach of contract. Audrey reacts by tears up the paperwork in front of him and angrily accuses him of trying to steal the salon.
In other news, Ken decides he's had enough of life with dithering Deirdre and their freeloading daughter Tracy, so he decides to move in with Steve. Excellent!

i really find it hard to believe this storyline that an obvious phycopath could become a police officer
