Mansfield chairman gives manager his Aston Martin after losing bet
Mansfield Town chairman John Radford has given his Aston Martin to manager Paul Cox after losing a bet over a half-time scoreline.
Prior to Saturday's Blue Square Premier game against struggling Barrow, Radford said he would give Cox his Aston Martin DB9 if Mansfield scored five goals during the first half.
Radford only arrived at the One Call Stadium at half-time after a dash back from Ireland, and was greeted by a 5-1 scoreline meaning he had to hand over the keys to his £85,000 motor.
The Stags went on to wrap up an 8-1 win. We hope Radford chucked in some furry dice and an air freshener for the three second-half goals.
