Newcastle to install slides to speed up exit from St James' Park
Fans leaving Newcastle United's St James' Park could be speeded on their way if plans to install slides get the green light.
Business improvement company NE1 plan to install 'travel accelerators' beside the steps which lead from the ground to the car park and Metro station.
NE1 says the slides would "inject some fun" into the area.
Similar slides are already in use at Overvecht Station in Utrecht, Holland (pictured).
We give it a month before an overweight, shirtless Toon fan has to be freed by the fire brigade.

slippy. Racing tonight at Kempton one goog EW bet NAP 4/1 1st 3 places quarter odds, Asia Minor 8.30, CAN WIN, should get the race run to suit tonight with 3 horses in there that have made the running in the past, slow un race last time did not suit and as a consequence was given too much to do, has won at Kempton C/D and was a running on too late 3rd last time over C/D......
