Manager Greg Abbott has backed goalkeeper Adam Collin to play a vital role in Carlisle's bid to make the League One play-offs.
The 27-year-old's form has earned warm praise from Abbott, who saw him put in a stunning display against Sheffield Wednesday only to be beaten by Michail Antonio's last-gasp winner.
The Cumbrians have lost three on the spin, falling three points adrift of the top six but with struggling Exeter next up at Brunton Park, Abbott has not given up hope yet.
"Let's dish it out when the players deserve credit - and Adam deserves it," Abbott said. "On Saturday he was sensational, as good as I've seen him. He has been outstanding this last month.
"Apart from that little spell of a couple of games he had a few months ago, he has not made many mistakes and often he has been outstanding.
"Let's hope he can maintain that and keep producing in a very big game."
