Aberdeen v Hibernian preview

Alan Tate could make his first start for Aberdeen in Friday night's Scottish Premiership match against Hibernian at Pittodrie.

The on-loan Swansea centre-back is set to replace Michael Hector, who has returned to parent club Reading following his six-month loan stint with the Dons.

Fellow defenders Andrew Considine (calf) and Clark Robertson (knee) remain on the sidelines, but Craig Murray comes back into the squad after missing Sunday's 1-0 win at Kilmarnock due to illness.

Teenage midfielder Lawrence Shankland, meanwhile, has joined Dunfermline on loan until the end of the season.

Hibs manager Terry Butcher has a fully fit squad to choose from as he looks to extend his five-match unbeaten run.

Teenage midfielder Alex Harris returns to the squad after recovering from a broken foot which has kept him out since last August.

Aberdeen are looking to complete a double over Hibernian after winning 2-0 at Easter Road in October.
