Barcelona defender Eric Abidal has returned to training following his liver transplant in April.
The 33-year-old France international initially had a tumour removed from his liver in March 2011 and a couple months later was able to start in their Champions League final success over Manchester United.
However, it was confirmed earlier this year that he would need a transplant and he had the procedure in April.
He revealed in August he hoped to return to action by December and Barcelona have confirmed he is now in light training.
"I'm tired, but happy," said Abidal who is working in the Pyrenees with Barca club physio Emili Ricart.
