Adams blasts his defenders
Ross County boss Derek Adams was critical of his team's defending during the 3-3 draw with Partick Thistle at Firhill.
Adams was furious with sloppy play from Scott Boyd, Brian McLean and Evangelos Oikonomou which led to Thistle striker Lyle Taylor snatching his brace for the hosts.
"The goals we gave away were terrible," said Adams. "Partick didn't have to work for the three goals they scored.
"In the first half, some of the decision making was so poor. We need to strengthen in that area this month now obviously.
"I spoke to my centre-halves at half-time at told them 'We are making Lyle Taylor look a very good player today'. That's unacceptable because he is a good player, but he's not a really good player.
"I could have played against my two centre-halves today and looked good, while Oikonomou needs to get off his deck chair."
Partick counterpart Alan Archibald was frustrated at letting a two-goal lead slip, and he reckons his charges are feeling the pressure when they play at home.
"It's starting to look like this problem of not winning at home is a subconscious issue, because when you are 3-1 up at home you should be on easy street," said Archibald.
"It feels like a defeat. We have struggled to score at home all season and then get three today and still don't win the match. It's hard to take.
"We didn't react well when we went ahead. We panicked. The worse thing to do as a defender is to retreat but we moved back five yards and invited County forward."
