Alexander's relief at draw

Graham Alexander was pleased to see his Fleetwood side put back-to-back defeats behind them with a 1-1 draw at home to Cheltenham.

Junior Brown's second-half header cancelled out Marlon Pack's first-half strike to ensure the points were shared at Highbury in Tuesday night's League Two clash.

He said: "We're happy with a point. Over the 90 minutes I thought Cheltenham were a good team.

"They put us under a lot of pressure and played some good football. They made it very hard for us.

"We were second best in the first half. But slowly and surely we got ourselves back into the game and Junior has scored a fantastic header to get us a point.

"They mentally dominated us, they were on the front foot and we were on a backward step. As soon as you do that, in football, you give up the momentum but we competed better in the second half.

"Still not enough, but when you've lost two on the bounce, to turn it round and get something out of it shows the will is there."
