Prospect Wells (3/1) was an emphatic winner of the Grade 2 totepool National Spirit Hurdle at Fontwell.
Paul Nicholls had three of the six participants in the race and while Dark Lover was the one to find favour with the punters, the Graham Wylie-owned eight-year-old looked to be travelling with particular fluency throughout, and he kept on well once given the office by Noel Fehily with two to jump.
Meister Eckhart, who was having his first run for Alan King, ran a cracker on a first appearance at the racecourse for 345 days, and though he tried hard to chase down the winner, it was ultimately in vain pursuit.
The winner holds a number of entries across the Cheltenham Festival and Sky Bet price him at 20/1 (from 25/1) for the Coral Cup and 33/1 (from 50/1) for the World Hurdle.
