Gary Anderson has withdrawn from the European Darts Open in Dusseldorf due to his ongoing eye problems.
The Scot recently pulled out of the second European Tour event in Berlin during his first-round clash with Michael Barnard suffering from a problem with his left eye which was affecting his vision and focus.
He had hospital checks and missed the Players Championship double-header in Crawley but has taken the decision to sit out again in Germany.
His scheduled first-round opponent, Scott Rand, will now receive a bye through to the second round of the event.
