Anthony passes landmark in win

Carmelo Anthony passed 19,000 career points as the New York Knicks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 117-86 on Thursday night.

Anthony scored 29 points to become the 50th NBA player to reach the milestone, while Tim Hardaway Jr matched him on the night with 29 and JR Smith added 19.

Kyrie Irving paced the Cavaliers 24 points.

Goran Dragic scored 28 points to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 102-94 win over the Indiana Pacers, despite a triple-double from Lance Stephenson of 14 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds.

In the day's other game the Golden State Warriors beat the Los Angeles Clippers 111-92.
