Anthony puts Knicks on brink
Carmelo Anthony poured in 26 points to take the New York Knicks to the brink of the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
A 90-76 win put them 3-0 up in their series with the Boston Celtics.
Raymond Felton had 15 points and 10 assists while JR Smith also scored 15 points and the Knicks put themselves in position to win their first play-off series since 2000.
Jeff Green paced the Celtics with 21 points.
The San Antonio Spurs put themselves in a similarly dominant position as 26 points and nine rebounds from Tim Duncan helped them to a 120-89 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
Dwight Howard led the Lakers, who were without star men Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash, with 25 points, while Pau Gasol had a triple-double of 11 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists.
Stephen Curry had 29 points and 11 rebounds as the Golden State Warriors rallied from a 12-point half-time deficit to beat the Denver Nuggets 110-108 and take a 2-1 lead in their series.
Ty Lawson had 35 points and 10 assists for the Nuggets.
