Archibald prepares for run-in
Partick boss Alan Archibald reckons his team have seven cup finals to play in order to avoid the relegation play-offs, after the 5-1 reverse to Celtic.
Thistle put up a spirited performance in the Glasgow derby, but they were unable to stop their local rivals securing their third successive championship.
Archibald will now prepare for the remainder of the campaign, starting with Saturday's match against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.
"I will chat to the lads tomorrow about the game but the main focus is on Saturday," Archibald said.
"Celtic started really positively and they went after us. We gave them that goal and they took the wind out of our sails.
"They did the same in the second-half and it is hard to play against a team in that form.
"But we have only had to play Celtic three times in a season and no disrespect to St Johnstone, Celtic are totally different altogether.
"We have seven games which are seven cup finals."
