Argentina duo cited over incidents
Argentina pair Pablo Matera and Leonardo Senatore will appear at SANZAR disciplinary hearings following incidents against South Africa.
Both players were cited for violating law 10.4 (m), pertaining to acts contrary to good sportsmanship, the Argentinian Rugby Union and tournament governing body SANZAR confirmed.
Matera was cited for allegedly eye-gouging fellow flanker Francois Louw at a ruck early in the second half, while number eight Senatore has been accused of biting the arm of Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth just after the hour mark.
The duo were not penalised during the match, but were reported after the game when the citing commissioner analysed the images and considered both offences deserved red cards.
The separate tribunals will take place via video conference.
