Arsenal v Everton preview

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger made five changes to his starting XI for the midweek win over Hull City and is likely to shuffle his pack once again against Everton.

Nicklas Bendtner scored a rapid opener against the Tigers but may find himself back on the bench after leading forward Olivier Giroud was given a break in midweek.

Jack Wilshere is another who will be hoping for a recall to the starting XI, while Theo Walcott is being eased back with four substitute appearances since his return from minor stomach surgery.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez will take the same squad which defeated Manchester United in midweek to face the league leaders on Super Sunday.

Centre-back Antolin Alcaraz, who has yet to make his debut after a summer move because of injury, travelled with the team to Old Trafford and could come into the matchday 18.

Left-back Leighton Baines is still three to four weeks away from recovering from a broken toe while striker Arouna Kone and midfielder Darron Gibson are long-term absentees.
