Tuukka Rask stopped 35 shots to help the Boston Bruins beat the Montreal Canadiens 4-1.
Carl Soderberg, Patrice Bergeron, Milan Lucic and Zdeno Chara got the goals for Bruins, who stretched their winning streak to six by ending a run of five losses against against their rivals.
Elsewhere the Calgary Flames eased to a 7-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks and Chris Higgins' shoot-out goal gave Vancouver Canucks a 3-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets.
