Leicester Riders stayed two points clear of Newcastle Eagles at the top of the BBL Championship after both teams recorded away wins on Sunday.
In a low-scoring contest, pacesetters Leicester eased past Cheshire Phoenix 69-60 with Pavol Losonsky pouring in 24 points for the victors.
Meanwhile, Charles Smith and Kareem Maddox both collected double-doubles to help Newcastle thrash fellow high-flyers Plymouth Raiders 96-79 .
Smith led all scorers with 26 points while he also added 12 rebounds and his fellow forward Maddox weighed in with 20 points and 14 rebounds as Newcastle bounced back from Friday's loss to Cheshire.
In Sunday's other match Glasgow Rocks climbed above Plymouth into third place after brushing aside Durham Wildcats 99-73 thanks largely to a 30-point contributing from player-coach Sterling Davis.
