Bailey outlines plans
Kim Bailey has revealed two possible options for his highly-regarded novice chaser Harry Topper.
A winner of both his starts over fences so far, at Exeter and when staging a late charge in a Grade Two at Newbury, the usually reticent Bailey has declared the five-year-old to be the best prospect he has trained since the 1995 Cheltenham Gold Cup hero Master Oats.
He has, however, already warned that Harry Topper will be having a light novice campaign and is not considering him for the RSA Chase at Cheltenham.
"He is going to run either in the Reynoldstown Novices' Chase at Ascot on February 16, or in a graduation chase at Exeter in February," said Bailey.
