Gareth Bale has criticised Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam for a second bad tackle which left the Tottenham winger on crutches.
Adam injured Bale with a challenge during the 0-0 draw between the two sides at the M&T Bank stadium, home of NFL franchise the Baltimore Ravens.
In May 2011 the Scotland international injured Bale in a tackle, causing ankle ligament damage which meant the Wales international was out for three months.
In quotes reported by several national newspapers, Bale said: "He's a bit of a coward. What he did was over the top. Some people are like that and it's just wrong.
"It's flattering when players try to take you out in a game but, when it threatens your career, it becomes more serious than that."
Bale and Adam have history following the latter's challenge when he was playing for Blackpool in 2011.
Bale added: "There are pictures on the internet of what he did before when he snapped all my ankle ligaments. I was out for three months that time. He's come for me twice now - and he's got me twice.
"When someone makes a very bad tackle on you, you expect an apology. I've had no apology. And I'm not going to accept his apology."
what do you think?
you are gutless coward Adam.

Not saying it was a good tackle but if bale didn't roll around like he'd been shot then continue to play on in afriendly he only has himself to blame
Bale should of been playing for team GB anyway its his own falt
massively over-rated adam. in the 80s he wouldn't have got to be a boot boy at anfield. I wish spurs had a modern day Graham Roberts, he would sort out bully boys like adam.
WHY DONT YOU SHUT UP CRY BABY WHY DONT YOU GET YOUR DUMMY BACK OFF YOU MUMMY I SUPPOSE YOU HAVE NEVER DONE A BAD TACKLE IN YOUR LIFE?
Charlie Adam isnt fit to call himself a liverpool player. Looked good playing for Blackpool but is out of his clogging depth playing for Liverpool.
Charlie mADAM thinks he is Graham Souness and Gareth Gayle thinks hes a camper version of Graham Norton.A recipe for disaster with the end result a whinging farter stabber crying.
Shame you didn,t join team gb coward not a nice word should not play unfit???
Remember watching the repeats of ITV's version of Match of the Day, they were of games from the 70's and 80's, on pitches that looked more like mud baths, and tackles that today would have resulted in Red Cards being deemed good tackles...When did football become a non contact sport? Ok I saw the tackle, it wasnt a good tackle at all, but Greame Souness would have been proud of that tackle, just as Gary Mabbut and Greaeme Roberts would have. These players need to stop being so bloody soft and get on with the game as it was intended.
