Barcelona are confident that they will be able to find a suitable replacement for Victor Valdes once he leaves the club.
The long-serving shot-stopper has informed the powers that be at Camp Nou that he will not be penning an extension to his current deal.
That means Valdes will be heading through the exits in the summer of 2014.
Losing a player of such vast experience, and a home-grown talent, is far from ideal, but Barcelona are not too concerned about filling the void.
"There's no need to give this too much attention," Barcelona vice-president Carles Vilarrubi told TV3.
"We have sufficient resources to find a good replacement.
"We now have a job on our hands and our task is to find a new goalkeeper.
"I have the feeling that Valdes is pretty certain about his decision. He wants to leave and we have to respect his wish."
