Barker wants to make his mark
Crawley Town manager Richie Barker wants time to put his stamp on the League One outfit.
The Red Devils have slipped to 10th in the league standings after Saturday's 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury made it seven matches without a win.
Former Bury boss Barker only took over at the Broadfield Stadium a week before the season started after Sean O'Driscoll left to join Nottingham Forest.
He is still working with many of the players who secured promotion from League Two last term and wants more competition for places.
"It's hard because you get judged by other people's players," said Barker.
"I left a squad at Bury where I had two players for each position. We are a long way from that."
