Barrow set for Swansea move

Ostersunds FK striker Modou Barrow is poised to join Swansea City after the Swedish club's chairman revealed that a deal has been agreed to take the player to the Premier League.

The 21-year-old Gambian forward is understood to have attracted the interest of several English sides this summer after catching the eye with Ostersunds.

The likes of Celtic, Hull City, Everton and Bolton Wanderers have all been credited with an interest, but it looks as though Swansea are set to win the chase for his signature.

Reports suggest that Barrow will travel to the club this week to hold final talks and have a medical, and Ostersunds chairman Daniel Kindberg is proud of his player.

He said: "It is a great achievement for Modou and of course for our entire club that a player goes to a team in the world's best soccer league, the Premier League. It is sensational.

"There are many who speculate about how much this deal is worth to OFK. We will not comment on any of the content of the deal. It's part of the business agreement."
