Home favourite Marion Bartoli booked her place in the final of the GDF Suez Open in Paris with victory over Klara Zakopalova on Saturday.
The second seed saw off her Czech opponent 7-6 (7/3) 6-0 in one hour 21 minutes.
Both players carved out six break points, but it was Bartoli who capitalised on them, breaking five times compared to Zakopalova's twice.
The French player will take on Germany's Angelique Kerber in the final after the ninth seed followed up her win over top seed Maria Sharapova by knocking out Belgian's Yanina Wickmayer.
Kerber came from a set down to beat Wickmayer 6-7 (7/2) 6-3 6-4.
