Batth shrugs off loan talk
Wolves' promising defender Danny Batth has no intention of leaving the club on loan despite his lack of first team action.
The 22-year-old started both of Wolves' Capital One Cup ties this season, but has been restricted to just two brief substitute appearances in the Championship.
Batth has been happy to look elsewhere for games in the past, taking in a productive loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday as they secured promotion out of League One last season, but he says he is now prepared to be patient and wait for his opportunity at Molineux.
"I'm just biding my time at the moment and waiting for my chance to come round so that when it does I'm ready to grasp it," he told Sky Sports.
"I'm very much a part of things at Wolves now and hopefully I can do my best when the opportunity presents itself.
"I've managed to feature in a couple of cup games and thought my performance levels were decent.
"It has been good to work with a new manager (Stale Solbakken) and adapt to his methods, so it has been a good season to date despite the lack of league action.
"As far as I'm aware, I am still needed at Wolves, so I'm 100 per cent focused and committed on doing my best for the club.
"I've not heard of any talk of a loan move and to be honest I'm not sure whether that would help me much as I continue to develop my game in training every day here."
