Bayern won't loan Hojbjerg

Bayern Munich are not planning to send teenage midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg out on loan next season to gain first-team experience.

The Denmark Under-21 international made seven Bundesliga appearances for Bayern this season, but it has been suggested he could join another German club on loan next term.

But Bayern's executive board chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed the 18-year-old, who has two years left on his contract, will be staying at the Allianz Arena.

"Pierre is extremely gifted as a player, our manager is crazy about him," Rummenigge told the club's official website.

"Basically, I am positive with regard to loan departures of young players who are not playing regularly in the Bayern Munich first team.

"But this is not an issue with regard to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

"Pierre has made fantastic progress. He just has to get his share of first-team experience. He is a Bayern Munich player, he will stay at our club."
