Belgium win after hail delay

Dries Mertens scored an 89th-minute winner as Belgium beat Tunisia 1-0 in a hail-delayed friendly in Brussels.

The referee suspended the match after 22 minutes due to the weather conditions, with the game restarting after a 40-minute delay.

After a further delay at half-time, the game eventually resumed with Mertens netting the winner in the closing stages after substitute Nacer Chadli found the Napoli winger in space in the penalty area and he calmly stroked it in with his right foot.

The visitors had lost Issam Jemaa for two bookable offences in the 63rd minute.

Elsewhere, Cameroon claimed a 1-0 win over Moldova thanks to a Edgard Salli strike.
