Bell suffers broken toe

Ian Bell has a "small fracture" in his left big toe, suffered whilst warming up for the fourth Royal London one-day international with India.

The Warwickshire batsman was hit on his toe batting against throw-downs ahead of the match on his home ground of Edgbaston.

He was replaced at number three by Gary Ballance, and subsequent x-rays showed the break.

Bell's injury will be assessed before the fifth and final match of the series at Headingley on Friday.
