Biles wins as Brits struggle
Britain's gymnasts finished well down the order in the women's all-around final at the World Championships as the United States' Simone Biles took gold.
Ruby Harrold was the best-placed Brit in 17th, with Rebecca Tunney coming 19th in Antwerp on Friday.
Biles recorded a total score of 60.216 to lead hope an American 1-2 ahead of Kyla Ross, who totalled 59.332. Aliya Mustafina of Russia ensured there was a European presence on the podium as she finished third on 58.856.
Harrold and Tunney were never going to be in the running against such consistent scorers.
Liverpool's Tunney returned a total of 52.865, with the vault her strongest set with a tally of 14.866. She scored 13.033, 11.966 and 13.000 from the uneven bars, beam and floor respectively.
Harrold was slightly better with a total of 53.199 made up of 13.900 (vault), 14.533 (bars), 11.066 (beam) and 13.700 (floor).
