Viktor Stalberg then scored in the third to take the game into OT after Nail Yakupov had once again put Edmonton ahead.
Slava Voynov scored the go-ahead goal and Anze Kopitar had three assists as the Los Angeles Kings won their fourth straight, beating the Anaheim Ducks 5-2.
Dustin Penner, Dustin Brown, Jake Muzzin and Jeff Carter also scored for the Kings as they halted Anaheim's six-game winning streak.
Roman Josi scored twice, including an overtime winner, and added two assists as the Nashville Predators beat the Dallas Stars 5-4.
The Ottawa Senators beat the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 via a shootout, and the Toronto Maple Leafs were 4-2 winners over the Philadelphia Flyers.
