Blackpool first up for Forest
Stuart Pearce will begin his Nottingham Forest reign on home soil as Blackpool open the new season at the City Ground.
The new boss on Trentside will not have to wait long for his first taste of derby action either, with arch-rivals Derby County set to make the short trip down Brian Clough Way on September 13.
That contest is followed by further tough tests against relegated Fulham, Millwall, Brighton & Hove Albion and Wigan Athletic, before a trip to Cardiff City is made on October 18.
Leeds United then pay a visit on December 20, while Boxing Day is spent at Middlesbrough and the curtain is brought down on 2014 at home to Birmingham City on December 28.
A first fixture of the New Year will also be staged in front of their own supporters, against Sheffield Wednesday, and a first away date of 2015 takes Forest to the iPro Stadium to face Derby on January 17.
February also looks like being a tricky month, as it brings six fixtures against Brighton, Wigan, Blackpool, Bolton Wanderers, Bournemouth and Reading.
Forest then go to Elland Road to face Leeds on March 14 and to Carrow Road to take on Norwich City a week later.
Pearce will hope to have his side in the promotion shake-up entering the final few weeks of a season which concludes at home to Cardiff on May 2.
