Blackpool v Burnley preview

Blackpool will once again be without Ricardo Fuller in Friday's Sky Bet Championship clash with Burnley at Bloomfield Road.

Since Fuller (knee) made his debut in the season's opening month, the Seasiders have failed to win any of the games he has missed, and he also scored the only goals in each of their two victories since November.

Defender Kirk Broadfoot has been ruled out again with a knee problem of his own and although caretaker manager Barry Ferguson missed training on Monday and Tuesday, he is expected to play on despite a nagging ankle injury.

Ferguson is likely to be depleted in the attacking region, though, with Steve Davies (groin) out for the season and veteran Robert Earnshaw struggling with a calf complaint.

Burnley travel to Blackpool with no new injury concerns and knowing three points could see them promoted.

The Clarets head to the seaside for a tea-time kick-off with an eight-point advantage over third-placed Derby with just three games remaining. The Rams face Doncaster later that evening and if Burnley were to win, Steve McClaren's men must also claim three points or see the Clarets go up automatically.

Striker Sam Vokes is the only player on Burnley's injury list after a cruciate ligament injury last month spelled the end for his season.

Boss Sean Dyche has often kept faith with the same starting XI from week to week and despite the defeat to Middlesbrough last time out, the performance was good enough to suggest the Clarets may be unchanged again.
