Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of Jan Gregus from Banik Ostrava on a year-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.
The Slovakian under-21 international, who turns 22 next Tuesday, progressed through the youth set-up at top-flight Slovakian side FC Nitra before moving to Ostrava in July 2009.
"Jan is a very talented player who I have monitored for a while now," said Bolton manager Dougie Freedman.
"We'll have a closer look at him now and see how he gets on."
Bolton yesterday also completed a loan move for West Bromwich Albion centre-back Craig Dawson, to run until 27 April.
