Bolton wait for Wylde approval
Bolton are awaiting a response from Rangers' administrators before Gregg Wylde can play his first game for the club.
The 21-year-old signed for the Lancashire side last month after taking a voluntary redundancy to leave Rangers due to their ongoing financial troubles.
But FIFA is yet to allow Wylde to play for Bolton as confirmation is needed that he left the Glasgow outfit at his own request.
Duff and Phelps, the administrators of Rangers, are set to send a letter to Bolton to allow the move to be completed.
Trotters boss Owen Coyle admits the situation has become frustrating but he still hopes to use Wylde for the remainder of the campaign.
He said: "It hinges on whether FIFA feel it was a mutual decision or if there were redundancies made - that is the clarification they want.
"It's frustrating for everybody, especially Gregg. He is a good kid and desperate to play his part but until we get that authorisation, he can't be involved.
"He is training with us and is ready to be part of the squad."
