Boss pleased with Palace ascent

Manager Dougie Freedman has declared himself delighted after three wins in a week saw Crystal Palace climb to fourth in the Championship table.

Palace picked up wins at Bolton and Wolves last week before edging a 4-3 thriller against Burnley at Selhurst Park on Saturday to take maximum points from their three contests.

"Overall I am very, very happy because it has been a tremendous week's work," said Freedman

"There was a great physical effort put into the three games that we won and they were three different games we've had to play.

"Burnley was always going to be difficult for us. They were not going to come here and lie down.

"The spirit we've got in the dressing room and that little bit of quality up top won us the game."
